Madison Rather
President
Madison is a Sport Management major with a double minor in Coaching and History from Victoria, TX. She is the current President and past Treasurer. She has been an active SCA member since August of 2022. She is a basketball and softball coach for 6-12 graders at a local private school in the Bryan area. Upon the completion of her Bachelor’s degree, she has plans to obtain her Masters in Education-Coaching and Athletic Administration with hopes to be a coach and Athletic Director in her near future. SCA has given her opportunities to learn more about the coaching profession and network with fellow coaches!
Alexa Elizondo
Vice-President
Alexa Elizondo is a junior Sport Management major with a minor in Secondary Education. Alexa grew up and attended high school in Boerne, Texas, where she was a four year letterman in basketball, softball, and track & field. As an active SCA member, Alexa has found tremendous insight learning and listening from active college and high school coaches in the community. Alexa had the opportunity to work as a girl’s assistant basketball coach at a nearby high school this past year, which provided her with much fulfillment and joy. Alexa intends to pursue a career in coaching and in athletic administration in the near future.
Ashley perrier
Secretary
Ashley is a junior Ocean engineering major with a minor in coaching from Temple, TX. She is the current Secretary of SCA and has been an active member for one year. Growing up and throughout high school, Ashley has played basketball, volleyball, and soccer, specifically, for both club and high school teams, as well as competing on her high school’s powerlifting team. She has coached basketball at A&M Consolidated Middle School and is looking forward to coaching soccer in the area. Upon graduation, Ashley is looking to work in the Ocean engineering field and coach club soccer. For Ashley, SCA has been a wonderful opportunity to meet people with similar interests, and an amazing organization to further the development of her coaching skills.

Curtis Gatewood

My name is Curtis Gatewood and I am a senior Kinesiology major with a concentration in applied exercise physiology from Corsicana, Texas. I am pursuing strength and conditioning and currently working with high school athletes. I am aiming to get my Master’s degree and coach collegiately. The SCA has provided amazing opportunities and opened doors into the coaching world that would have never been possible without it.

Howdy y’all! I’m Brennan Peloquin and I am your Social Chair! I am a Senior Kinesiology major who loves sports, working out, the outdoors, and hanging out with my friends. I hope to leave an impact on every person I meet through SCA and to make my time here as memorable as possible. “A life is not important except the impact it has on other lives.” -Jackie Robinson
